On December 4th, the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is hosting their annual meeting in Scottsdale. Join us in telling ALEC: DARK MONEY IS NO LONGER WELCOME IN ARIZONA!
The American Legislative Exchange Council is an association of state legislators, corporations, and corporate foundations-- often tied to the notorious Koch network. ALEC brings state legislators who are supposed to be serving the common good together with corporations to develop model legislation that puts corporate greed over the needs of our communities!
ALEC's legislation is aimed at weakening unions, pushing charter schools, cutting taxes for billionaires and corporations, destroying protections for our environment, privatizing jails and prisons, and disenfranchising voters. Arizona legislators have deep ties to ALEC, and it is time we join together to demand better!
Join us on December 4th to protest ALEC's presence in Arizona and demand a future for our state that puts people over profit!
