The Koch network is promoting a false crisis in education, resulting in the ongoing underfunding of our public schools nationwide. Students are losing access to the resources they need to learn and thrive while their teachers and support staff remain underpaid. A lack of oversight of the Koch network’s charter school movement is allowing for private-interests to influence kids’ curriculum.
We’re equipping activists and grassroots organizations with the resources necessary to stop the spread of harmful charter schools, organizing parents to protect their kids’ curriculum, and mobilizing rapid response direct actions to demonstrate the power of the people. In 2020, the needs of our students and teachers are coming before the interests of corporations.
